FAQ
Are your drone pilots certified?
Yes. All our pilots hold a valid Transport Canada drone pilot certificate (Basic or Advanced, depending on the operation). We comply fully with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR Part IX).
Is it legal to fly drones anywhere?
Not quite. Transport Canada has specific rules about where drones can fly. We always conduct an airspace check and obtain necessary permissions before any shoot—ensuring flights are legal and safe.
Can the drone fly over people or private property?
We avoid flying directly over people unless special permissions are granted and safety precautions are in place. When filming near private property, we obtain consent when required and respect all privacy regulations.

Services & Bookings
What kind of drone services do you provide?
We specialize in professional aerial photography, cinematic videography, and post-production video editing. Our services cover real estate, events, tourism, construction progress tracking, inspection and promotional marketing content.
I’ve never hired a drone operator before—how does it work?
It’s simple. Once you tell us what you need (for example, property shots or event highlights), we handle everything: location scouting, filming, editing, and final delivery of high-quality photos or videos in your preferred format.
How far in advance should I book a drone shoot?
We recommend at least one week in advance to ensure proper flight planning and regulatory approvals, though if you're event is publicly advertised we recommend booking as far ahead as possible. Filming of public events by drones requires an additional permit.
What happens if there is poor weather?
We build contingencies into our schedules to allow for poor weather. Adjustments to schedules are expected. In the unlikely event that you need to cancel, there are no charges for Standard Shoots. If you have a custom shoot requiring an additional permit, and need to cancel, only the permit fee is non refundable.
Can you also edit the videos and photos?
Absolutely. Our editing team can produce anything from simple highlight reels to full cinematic productions. We handle colour correction, stabilization, and sound design to ensure professional-quality results.
How long does it take to receive the final product?
Raw footage is delivered within 24 hours, while edited videos typically take 2-3 business days.
What formats will I receive the footage in?
Your content will be delivered in a downloadable zip file containing multiple MP4 files, each containing 4K video at 30 FPS. We stabilize and color correct each file for you so that your content looks the best it possibly can. Additional formats and specifications are available on request.
If you have selected to have us produce a highlight reel or video, we will provide you two versions, one in 16:9 format for desktop viewing, and another in 9:16 which is suited for social media such as Instagram.
